Co-ordination
The coordination of ERDITI is ensured by the GIS - Institut des maladies rares (French Institute for Rare Diseases research), a consortium of the major public bodies and charity organisations involved in rare disease health care and research in France. The goal of this institute, directed by Pr Elisabeth Tournier-Lasserve, is to foster research on rare diseases in France.
ERDITI is sponsored by the European Science Foundation and is supported by LEEM-Recherche, the advisory R&D committee of the French pharmaceutical industry association.
